SEA SAFARIS LANZAROTE
We operate our Coastal Sea Safari Boat Tours all year round with daily departures from our base in Puerto Calero Marina at 09.15 and 16.30. Sunrise and Sunset Sea Safari Boat Tours are also on offer, the departure time depending on the time of year.
The tours last for approximately 2 hours as we explore the dramatic coastline of Lanzarote, which varies from the sheer cliffs of volcanic rock to the amazing topography of the backdrop of dormant volcanoes. The unique island of Lanzarote is a great example of a volcanic ecosystem and was declared a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve in 1993, thus confirming its strong historic link between man and nature.
Our passage will depend upon the prevailing weather but will take us within an area of 40 square nautical miles, bordered by Puntal El Barranquillo to the east and Punta Papagayo to the southwest. This may also allow us to explore the Los Ajaches coastline with its many coves which form the Bahía De Ávila stretching towards Playa Quemada in the north.
And, if we are lucky, there is always the chance of encountering flying fish, sharks, turtles, dolphins, whales and a great variety of sea birds including Grey Herons, Little Egrets, Northern Gannets and Cory´s Shearwaters whilst at sea. But, don´t forget, this is Nature´s Playground and there is never any guarantee of any sightings!!
