Liz has always had a connection to the sea which started with a misspent youth messing around with boats off the coast of South Devon in England. In the year 2000, Liz moved into the world of underwater photography, working alongside many well known underwater photographers and videographers. She also learnt to scuba-dive here in Lanzarote, which gave her a better insight into the underwater world and, in particular, to the fantastic variety of marine life that live in these waters.
This interest then expanded when she developed an interest in whales and dolphins, and was pleasantly surprised to discover how many species of these inhabit our local waters.
This then became a major hobby and has taken her to different parts of the world, where her wide knowledge of cetaceans has been enhanced, not only by the wonderful sightings of these majestic animals in their home environment, but also by the number of different people she has met who have shared their own knowledge and experiences with her.
Now, as the principal owner of Sea Safaris Lanzarote, Liz enjoys introducing people of all ages to the wonders and delights that a boat tour along the coastline of Lanzarote has to offer.
